Day 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Embark on an exhilarating journey as you meet your safari guide in the morning and set off in a 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser towards Tarangire National Park. Traverse through the open savannah, iconic baobab trees, and encounter the dynamic landscape featuring seasonal swamps and the vital Tarangire River. The park comes to life as diverse animals gather at the river’s edge, offering glimpses of elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Keep a lookout for unique species like the fringe-eared oryx and the distinctive gerenuk.

Buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often accompanied by a variety of predators, including lions, call Tarangire home. Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park

Embark on today’s adventure, journeying past the picturesque Lake Manyara into the fertile Ngorongoro highlands. As you traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the landscape unfolds, leading you to the expansive Serengeti National Park by early afternoon. The upcoming days are dedicated to immersing yourself in the renowned Serengeti, a habitat for the iconic Big Five – elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and rhinos – along with a myriad of other fascinating wildlife.

Anticipate thrilling wildlife encounters during your game drives, with each day on safari promising unique sightings and experiences. Your base for the next three nights is the Kati Kati Tented Camp, strategically located to offer an authentic safari experience. Depending on the season, your accommodation arrangement may include one night in the central Serengeti and two nights in the northern Serengeti (June – October) or the southern Serengeti (January – March). Alternatively, you may stay all three nights in the central Serengeti (November – December & April – May).

Full Day Serengeti National Park
