The adventure begins in Tarangire National Park, where elephants, zebras, and other animals move freely through the park’s diverse habitats. From there, you continue to Lake Manyara, known for its colorful birdlife and stunning views. Day 1

Arrival in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will receive a warm meet and greet. Our team will ensure a seamless transfer to Arusha, where you will spend the night at the Outpost Lodge or a similar accommodation. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay with bed and breakfast facilities, setting the perfect beginning for your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara Park

Commence your day with breakfast at 08:30, followed by a scenic drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara Park. Experience thrilling game viewing in the park, and at 13:00, indulge in a delightful packed lunch in the park’s picnic area. As the evening unfolds, embark on a drive to your chosen lodge or campsite for a restful dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara.

Later, proceed to Lake Eyasi for a unique dining experience and overnight stay. Enjoy a full-board arrangement, ensuring you savor delicious meals throughout your journey.

Day 3

Lake Eyasi Cultural Tour/Trekking

Rise early to start your day with a pre-sunrise breakfast. A short 20-minute drive from the camp will bring you to the nomadic Bushmen (Hadzabe). Accompanied by the Bushmen, engage in a unique hunting experience on foot, utilizing traditional weapons such as bows and arrows.

These Bushmen, akin to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa, share a common click language but, due to prolonged separation, do not comprehend each other. Living a medieval lifestyle, the Bushmen eschew permanent homes and instead follow the movement of animals for sustenance. After a fascinating hunting session with the Bushmen, return to the vehicles and head back to the camp for a hearty lunch.

Following a brief afternoon siesta, embark on an adventure departing from the camp at 4:30 PM, driving to Lake Eyasi to witness the enchanting sight of flamingoes and relish the sunset over the Rift Valley Escarpment.

Conclude the day with an overnight stay at Lake Eyasi Camp, enjoying a well-rounded day with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

Day 4

Lake Eyasi to Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, journey from Lake Eyasi to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of captivating game viewing. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst the scenic Lerai forest within the crater. As the day unfolds, depart from the crater and head to Nainokanoka for a memorable dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Nainokanoka to Empakai

After a hearty breakfast, commence your day with a half-day walking excursion into Olmot Crater. Following lunch in Nainokanoka, embark on a drive to Gulatti and then set out on foot to Empakai, traversing Maasai villages. Camp under the stars for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 6

Empakai to Naiyobi

Enjoy breakfast and set off on a forested walk, descending from the eastern rim to the crater floor where vast flocks of flamingos breed. After lunch at Empakai, continue your journey by walking along the rim to reach Naiyobi village. Utilizing donkeys as porters, settle in for dinner and a night of camping at Acacia Campsite, experiencing the beauty of nature in full.

Day 7

Naiyobi to Oldonyo Lengai (Climbing the mountain)

Following breakfast, trek to the base of Oldonyo Lengai, where you will camp overnight after reaching your destination. Experience a night bird climb up the steep slopes of the “Mountain of God,” named in Maasai language due to its volcanic and active nature. Return to the camp for breakfast and then drive to Arusha for your overnight stay at a designated hotel.

Day 8

Oldonyo Lengai to Arusha

Embark on an extraordinary adventure as you commence your descent from the foot of Oldonyo Lengai, navigating the steep slopes under the veil of the night sky. Known as the “Mountain of God” in the Maasai language, this volcanic mountain stands as a testament to nature’s awe-inspiring power, remaining active to this day.

Following the night bird climb, return to the camp for a well-deserved breakfast. Subsequently, commence your journey by driving back to Arusha. Upon arrival, settle in for your overnight stay at the designated hotel. Reflect on the remarkable experiences and breathtaking landscapes encountered throughout the cultural and hiking tour in Tanzania.
